At Wellcare Australia, we provide shared housing and assistance for mental health participants with ongoing care needs. Our vision is to provide outstanding person-centered and recovery-oriented care, through the provision of our support workers, to help our participants through their recovery journey. Wellcare Australia is also a registered NDIS provider. The core mission of the organisation is to promote and support a recovery based on hope and ambition for all our residents, allowing their mental health to flourish.
Qualifications & experience
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in the creative field.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Plan, organise and executed diverse group activities such as art and craft, group outings, music, etc. for NDIS participants.
- Coordinate with the service delivery team weekly to ensure the activities are being delivered as planned.
- Encourage active participation from the participants.
- Manage activity logistics.
- Manage activity resources/equipment effectively
- Collect and respond to feedback from participants to continuously improve the activities.
- Address requests from participants (such as activity preference).
