SalaryOur general insurance client is seeking an Actuarial Contractor to join their team working on modelling migration projects within pricing for 12-months. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
About the role
- Work on a range of modelling migration projects within pricing including price modelling.
- Assist with assumptions and price setting.
- Utilise machine learning and statistical tools for price modelling.
- Provide coaching and guidance to more junior staff members as required.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in actuarial roles in general insurance with pricing experience required.
- Experience with machine learning and statistical tools such as Python.
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
