Are you hands-on and interested in 3D printing? 

Do you possess skills in tooling, electricity, mechanical systems, or ICT? If so, we're looking for you!  We have positions for Design Engineers, Material Engineers and Production Engineers.

You will play a crucial role in building our Additive Manufacturing process and capability, from design and engineering to drafting, slicing, and 3D printing. You'll work with a variety of Additive Manufacturing technologies, including Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF), Directed Energy Deposition (DED), and Powder Bed Fusion (PBF)

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, engineer, and draft components for Additive Manufacturing
  • Operate industrial equipment such as drill presses, band saws, CNC machines, and hand tools
  • Produce a diverse range of products for a range of industries
  • Create and execute test prints, optimizing designs for production
  • Setup Additive Manufacturing build jobs, operate machines, and accurately document outcomes
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team, contributing your creative and problem-solving skills

Our ideal candidate will have:  

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in technology development (R&D or Product Development)
  • Experience in Additive Manufacturing technology (3D Printing)
  • Background in solid mechanics, finite element analysis and (adjoint) sensitivity analysis
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to set up, organize and execute his/her own research and meet targets and the ability to work cohesively within a supportive team

The role is permanent, full time and based at our Forrestfield facility. Industrial Design or Engineering Degree is desirable, we prioritise candidates with a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to learn.
