ALPA is looking for an energetic and driven individual to join our Fleet Department. You will be reporting to the Safety, Fleet and Facilities Manager and you will be responsible for providing the ALPA Group with a centralised service inclusive of the coordination of maintenance, licensing, and asset renewal. You will be a highly organised individual who is able to manage competing priorities to get the best outcomes for the business.
Your key responsibilities will be
- Economically and efficiently managing the ALPA owned properties providing maintenance and support. This will include maintaining registration and insurance coordination, scheduling planned maintenance, arranging unplanned repairs, coordinating tradespeople for remote visits, and obtaining quotes for vehicle improvements.
- Point of contact for all Darwin Support Officer contractor management (electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, gardening, security, waste management, cleaning), scheduling planned maintenance, arranging unplanned repairs and, coordinating tradespeople for building improvements.
- Undertake the Facilities Management function for leased facilities where the matter relates to items that are the responsibility of the landlord.
- Manage the fleet, forklift, and long-term parking at the DSO.
- Provide first call for all DSO Alarm notifications and key register.
