Administration and Project Assistant
We are a small business based in Balcatta looking for a motivated individual to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. Initial requirements are for 2 days per week in the office with the possibility of additional hours in the future.
About the Role
We are looking for someone to join the team and work across the business. Your role will be diverse and include:
- General office administration
- Xero data entry – invoicing Clients, entering bills payable, bank reconciliations
- Time-sheet entry and payroll for a small team of staff
- Preparation of monthly projects status report
- File & system management
- Liaise with suppliers and couriers
- Compile service reports and invoices
- Ordering supplies and inventory management
- Project administration assistance – preparation of documents and site files
- Management of registers and OH&S documentation
- Liaising with Customers for pricing and orders
Initially the role is for 2 days a week with an ongoing opportunity for role development and additional days for the right person. While the hours and days can be tailored to the applicant (hours can be split across multiple days), our preference is for the applicant to be available to work for a period of time on Thursdays.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous administration / office experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel and Word
- Proven work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Motivated to learn new skills and be willing to take on tasks as they arise
- Be proactive and able to work independently
- Good organisational and time management skills
