  • Competent in using standard Microsoft software such as Word and Excel and Mac products

Experience in using a cloud-based Job Management System, preferably AroFlo and/or previous experience in a service or trade-based company is desirable.

Whilst experience in the above is preferable, the position is also open to a junior looking to enter the industry, with the right attitude and willingness to undertake training.

This position will report to the General Manager and will be working alongside our existing office team. This role is required to undertake the general administration of the business to ensure the operational, management and other key functions can operate effectively and efficiently and will be directly responsible for:

  • Be the ‘face of the business’ as the first point of contact: answering telephone calls, emails and other correspondence
  • Entering, maintaining and managing tasks in our job management system from start to finish
  • Maintaining the workflow to the highest of standards
  • Raising Purchase Orders for Materials, following up on orders placed
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Collating timesheets ready for payroll
  • Recording, documenting and refining of new/existing business systems and procedures
  • Adhoc administration/personal assistant tasks as required

Blackout Contractors are a growing business offering Electrical and Air Conditioning services primarily to the domestic and commercial construction sector. We have a great team of skilled employees and offer a positive and inclusive working environment.
