NECA Careers & Apprenticeships (NCA) was established by the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) of South Australia / Northern Territory. The Opportunity
NCA is seeking an Administration Officer, to join our small friendly and supportive team, located on the city fringe with off street parking provided. NCA emphasis is on a strong team culture with regular ongoing support and training and opportunities to attend industry events. This rewarding position gives you the chance to obtain valuable experience to develop skills.
This position is an entry level role suitable for school leavers, students, or those seeking to apply their prior administration experience in a different industry. Flexible hours can be discussed for the suitable candidate.
Duties for the role include but not limited to:
- First point of contact to visitors
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails
- Manage a diverse range of administrative activities
- Source, retrieve and distribute information as required
- Prepare and maintain relevant forms and documents
- Preparation of agendas and meeting minutes
- Edit documentation according to corporate standards
- Process weekly payroll for apprentices
- Assist in data entry for apprentice subsidies
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
