What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of this role is to provide safe and effective support to the patients/clients and carers of Western Sydney Local Health Network. Work collaboratively to render the necessary assistance to support the provision of patient care.
To develop and maintain systems that provide timely communication, data and information to support allied health staff in the provision of care. To provide friendly and professional customer service to families, carers and patients.

Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
- Demonstrated experience using patient database systems such as iPM or Cerner
- Demonstrated clerical or administration experience in a health, hospital or medical environment
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills working in a fast paced environment with competing demands
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with patients/customers and their families/carers
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with NSW Health CORE values and applied experience in maintaining client confidentiality
