We are a boutique Accounting Firm based in Darwin. Due to a team member going on maternity leave we are seeking a Part-Time Administration Officer Superstar to join our team 20 – 30 hours per week.
You will be an excellent communicator, work well under pressure and to deadlines, and can deliver high level customer service and administration support. Reliability, honesty and punctuality are highly valued qualities.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Maintain a professional demeanour & confidentiality in all interactions
- Efficiently manage day-to-day office administration operations and support to the Principal
- Answering phone calls and maintaining client liaison
- Processing of mail – incoming and outgoing electronic & paper
- Accounts Receivable/Payable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Database Management & Maintenance
- Preparation of Corporate Secretarial work including company statements and changes to corporate details as directed
- Follow up on ASIC Fees reminders and documentation
- Lodgement of ASIC documents, Income Tax Returns and BAS’s
- Setting up new entities as directed, including ATO Registrations, ABR Updates and cancellations
- Assisting with preparation of basic Individual Tax Returns
- Filing documentation as required
Favourable experience, though not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in an Administrative role at an Accounting Firm
- Experience using MYOB AE, MYOB Tax, ASIC and MyGov portals. Training will be provided.
- Full Drivers licence
- Completed Cert IV Bookkeeping or Certificate in Administration
