We are a rapidly growing import and sales company specialising in exciting foods from all around the world. We work with large restaurant chains, theme parks, movie cinemas and food distributors in Australia and New Zealand to develop exciting food offerings for their menus.
We are looking for a positive and like minded personality to join our team as an Administrative Assistant to our Operations Manager.
This full OR part time role will include assisting our Operations Manager to:
- Maintain a stock management and allocation system across our six warehouses
- Co-ordinate transport and logistic movements across Australia and New Zealand
- Forecast and order stock from suppliers
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
- Make claims for disputed invoices
- Carry out stock takes and reconciliations
- Provide general support to the team as required.
Requirements
- Planning and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer literacy (Apple Mac) and numeracy skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a polite and assertive manner
- Reliable, team player with good work ethic
- Strong MS office skills, especially Excel
Desirable
- Xero and book keeping experience
Working days will be Monday to Friday with the potential to have Friday off if required.
This is a multi-faceted role allowing plenty of room for personal growth and versatility. You will be taught and mentored to carry out the majority of the tasks listed above as they are specific to the company.
