- Part Time (0.7 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent
- Provide a comprehensive and confidential reception and registration service for patients presenting to the Paediatric Emergency Department.
- Assist patients and their families, as well as clinical staff within the department.
- Process admissions, transfers and discharges of patients from the PED and broader hospital as required.
- Supporting and actively participating in a positive culture and safe work environment
- Use initiative and work autonomously in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities
- Communicate effectively with consumers, staff, and external agencies, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
- Exercise judgment and handle difficult situations with tact, diplomacy, and empathy
- Provide efficient front-line, customer-focused service
- Work with diverse groups of people from various backgrounds
- Perform comprehensive administrative support services efficiently
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information while adhering to confidentiality principles
- Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.
