We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable being the first point of contact for new enquiries. This inbound sales role is a mix of responding to warm inbound leads and building strong new client relationships. You will manage inbound inquiries through to success.

You will be the first point of contact for clients looking for amazing celebrity talent for their event, or marketing activation.

We are a team that are genuinely passionate about the work we do, and how we go about creating meaningful solutions in a fast-paced and busy environment. Being a start up, you will see the effects of the work you do on the business, both in the short-term and long-term.

You will report to our Partnerships & Engagement Manager and work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that all leads are tracked and followed up.

Jobs tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting clients utilise the Pickstar platform through concise education and supportive follow up to ensure they connect with amazing celebrities relevant to their request.  These leads will be generated via our website and content marketing.
  • Managing a high volume of emails and general customer correspondence.
  • Understand customer needs and buying cycle to gather key prospect information and generate interest, through in-depth qualification calls.
  • Keeping contact history and notes up to date.
  • General administration duties and workload sharing.
  • Updating talent profiles that appear on our website.
  • Utilise all channels to capture intent and qualify the prospects (live chat, email, calls, Linkedin, Video)
  • Data analysis, entry and reporting
  • Developing tailored star suggestions to support clients in knowing who would be the right fit for their specific request
  • Social media research
  • Managing and assisting users of Pickstar’s platform including clients, elite talent and their managers/agents
  • Will need to be efficient in solving platform users enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assisting clients utilising the payment functionality & ensuring that celebrities/their respective managers are paid on time following the completion of a booking
  • General office duties
  • Supporting management with administrative tasks
     

Skills & Experience

To Be Successful For This Role You Will Need:

  • 1-2 Years experience in an inbound sales / business development role preferably
  • Talented, ambitious, a hustling person who thinks the celebrity talent industry is being disrupted and wants to be a part of it.
  • Confidence in learning user management & booking management software
  • A Team-player at heart, willing to take risks and be challenged everyday
  • Taking ownership of designated tasks, showing initiative, and being committed to seeing results come to fruition
  • You love people and have great communication skills - active listener, empathetic, extremely clear, direct, timely, and accurate.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit - our team is hard working, self-motivated and ambitious
  • Well organised and autonomous, you can multitask and prioritise your work efficiently with an outstanding eye for attention to detail
  • Confidence dealing, negotiating or recommending specific talent with customers directly (with support from our team members)
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Office or Google Workspace
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Very strong organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Great team skills and enjoys working in a fun and exciting workplace
  • Ability to think independently and not afraid to bring ideas to the table
  • Reliable
  • Adaptable and quick learning in a fast paced environment
