About the role:
Traralgon Police Station requires an energetic and dynamic person to work as an Administration / Property Officer. The successful applicant must be willing to work in a team environment at the Traralgon Police Station, be a quick learner and able to self-motivate and supervise. The role will undertake the recording of administrative files internally and externally as well as the management and recording of seized and lost property. The role reports direct to the Administration Team Leader and will have some contact and interaction with external stakeholders.

Your duties will include:
  • The recording of daily correspondence, both internal and external
  • Sorting and processing of daily mail
  • The administration and management of property files
  • Answering telephone calls and email enquiries
As the successful applicant, you will have:
  • Good computer skills

  • Well-developed written & communication skills
  • A strong drive to work within a dynamic team environment
  • A proven track record of behaviour and a commitment to the Victoria Police Code of Ethics, Conduct and the Organisational Values
Requirements and relevant information:
  • One (1) x Part Time 45 hrs per fortnight ongoing position available
  • Position is located at the Traralgon Police Complex (15-17 Kay Street, Traralgon), however you may be required to work at other locations within the Division/PSA.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
