About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping the future of higher education? Join our dynamic team within the Architecture, Building and Planning, and Engineering and Information Technology Divisional Group, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving recruitment strategies and providing exceptional service to prospective students.
As an Admissions and Selection Officer, you'll manage admissions processes for graduate coursework programs and complex undergraduate programs, ensuring outstanding customer service and expert support for prospective students. Your contribution will be instrumental in streamlining admissions procedures, developing innovative systems, and fostering collaborative relationships across our team and the wider university community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to the Admissions and Selection Manager on the admissions plan for each Division and undertake ongoing review and monitoring against our plan to meet KPI’s.
  • Support and provide advice on admissions and selection processes and support the course selection committees.
  • Accurate processing, assessment and selection of course and scholarship applications within agreed timelines, by agreed criteria.

You will also have:

  • A relevant degree and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • Demonstrated a high level of administration skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in databases and the suite of Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute towards problem solving, and the ability to think flexibly and review processes for continuous improvement.
