About the Role
As the Business Operations Officer (Officer), your role will be a front-line position within the Advancement Operations shared services team of the Advancement Office. Advancement Operations strive to provide outstanding business services to drive forward the University’s philanthropic and stakeholder engagement strategies. Your role demands a strong commitment to providing high quality customer service to all clients whether they are University colleagues or external to the institution. You are required to have the ability to assess client needs quickly and accurately and act upon them appropriately.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the implementation of the transition to the Salesforce platform (OneCRM project) for the Advancement division, including the development of system expertise to become a ‘super user’ with capacity to support and troubleshoot for other users

  • Provide support to the Advancement Operations, Alumni & Donor Relations, and Development teams, e.g., provision of data requests and mailing lists

  • Coordinate meetings, seminars, workshops, and training

About You
To be successful in this role, your advanced levels of attention to detail and organisational skills will enable you to work successfully as part of a team and independently to complete your workload. This will ensure you meet with strict deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and customer service skills which will assist you in building and maintaining rapport with a various range of stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.

You will also have:

  • Completion of a degree or advancement diploma, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training as per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications

  • Familiarity with CRMs, databases, request tracking and management tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
