Advisor - Aboriginal Partnerships and Practice, Aboriginal Self-determination and Outcomes Division contributes significantly to the strategic directions of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) by providing earlier and more connected support, as well as local solutions. The primary objective of this position is to support the team that is working to enhance the well-being of Aboriginal individuals and communities by supporting engagement strategies for social and economic participation. By doing so, the position aims to create opportunities for individuals and families to build better lives and achieve their potential by participating in the community and economy.Please open the position description to read more.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
  • Assist with stakeholder and community relationships and create mutually beneficial partnerships essential for achieving the department's objectives in relation to the support of Aboriginal communities and people.
  • As required assist with, and contribute to, the successful development and implementation of projects, including providing timely and accurate support in relation to new and existing information sharing arrangements.
  • Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
