About the role
Reporting to the Training Senior Advisor, the purpose of this position is to provide the site training and competency verification requirements to ensure employees are able to work safely ad productively at CGO. This will mean ensuring legislative requirements and Evolution standards are maintained within the training program.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to maintaining and improving systems for site training and competency verification.
- Training personnel in nationally recognized training programs and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of INX and other relevant training software tools.
- Providing general training advice to key stakeholders and support site training requirements.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate training records, and demonstrate behaviors aligned with Evolution Mining values.
- Supporting the development and implementation of site health systems and programs, and assist with annual budgeting to manage costs.

About you
The ideal candidate will hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessing and have essential H&S experience in mining or related industries. Key competencies include a sound knowledge of, NSW Mining H&S Legislation, and experience in developing and conducting H&S system training. You must possess effective influencing and communication skills across a range of stakeholders, high-level written and oral presentation skills, and the ability to manage personal work priorities efficiently, considering time constraints and resource availability. You must work well in a small team, be competent in writing and reviewing training processes and H&S documentation, follow instructions and procedures, lead by example, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, INX, and risk analysis tools/software
