Your day as an Advisor
Your typical day-to-day as an Advisor in the Women’s Economic Outcomes team, you will play a supporting role in the delivery of high-quality advice on strategic policy and project development, implementation, and evaluation, focused on women’s Economic Outcomes and gender equality.
Your role will be to analyse and advise on women’s Economic Outcomes and gender equality. This will involve establishing sound relationships with Treasury and agency contacts.
Candidates with experience or a willingness to develop expertise in social policy, economic and/or financial management are encouraged to apply.
Achieve success as an Advisor
In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
You will be successful in this role if you are:
Ability to analyse data, conduct research, and synthesize information to develop evidence-based recommendations on women’s Economic Outcomes and gender equality.
Strong ability to communicate policy analysis and advice clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Experience or willingness to develop expertise in project management, including supporting the preparation, project management, and delivery of government policy and key budget products.
Clear and effective communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
