This role is part of Fugro's Land team of experts, who provide survey operations in the capture of spatial data with a variety of airborne sensors.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Aerial Sensor Operator to join our established Australian Land Inspection and Monitoring team on a full-time basis. Based from either our Adelaide, Brisbane or Perth offices, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Operate, maintain, and enhance proprietary LiDAR, Imagery & GNSS Sensor systems;
- Diagnose and repair sensor faults while contribute valuable insights for continuous improvement;
- Contribute input to enhance sensor functionality and actively participate in quality control of LiDAR and Imagery data;
- Execute flight planning and manage sensor repair logistics while ensuring seamless operations;
- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative data acquisition and processing methodologies, while adhering to Fugro's HSE.
About You
Your success in securing this role will require:
- Tertiary degrees or relevant industry experience is highly beneficial;
- Knowledge of Geospatial sensors and associated GNSS, LiDAR and Imagery principles with a passion for aviation is desirable;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems and computer networking;
- Comfortable performing flights in Light Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft;
- Demonstrated Fault Finding and diagnostic skills in a high pressure environment.
