Aeromedical Pilot - Piston, Tamworth

AirMed is an active aeromedical and charter operator throughout NSW and further afield. We are seeking a full-time pilot to operate PA31P (Mojave) aircraft from our Tamworth base.

The work is varied and interesting, primarily performing single-pilot patient transfers in cooperation with a flight nurse. Remuneration is generous. We expect to upgrade you to jet operations, after a suitable period flying our Mojaves.

Mandatory requirements

• 2000 PIC, 500 ME, 100 IFR, 100 night, 5 IPCs
• Substantial recent time on type or similar (PA31P, PA31, or similar large piston twins)
• Substantial recent single-pilot IFR and single-pilot night
• Ability to handle high workloads and operate professionally in adverse conditions
• Willing to work evenings and occasional overnights
• Independant, reliable, responsive, capable pilot with can-do attitude
• Comply with NSW Health vaccination requirements
• Full (standard) drivers' licence
• The right to work in Australia
• Based in Tamworth

Desirable qualities include

• Aeromedical or remote area experience
• Turbine experience
• Instructing or check-and-training experience
