About the Role

We are looking for a vibrant and motivated individual to join our journey in raising the standard of care provided to people living with a disability.
  
Our coordination team is a national team, responsible for the coordinating the supports for their allocated states, territories & participants. We’re currently seeking a National Afterhours Coordinator, to coordinate supports for our clients and support workers outside of standard business hours.
  
This role will be suitable for a flexible individual, readily available & on-call to action queries and requests ranging from low priority to urgent. This individual will need the skills required to think on their feet, de-escalate situations, cover vacant shifts, and work within a person centred & compassionate approach toward NDIS clients, and support workers.
  
*This role is a working from home opportunity, with the exception of in office training as required, and infrequent attendance to team meetings, and work events*
  
The National After-Hours Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coverage of vacant shifts and cancellations.
  • Ensuring only support workers with appropriate skills/experience are allocated to services.
  • Maintaining & managing existing rosters of supports for clients.
  • Building rapport with support workers, and clients to ensure continuity of care.
  • Frequent, and consistent communication with support workers and clients.
  • Providing detailed handovers to the national coordination team.
  • Escalating any concerns or incidents to management upon handover.
About You
  • Minimum 12 months experience in Rostering/Coordination, preferably in the Disability Industry.
  • Flexibility to attend in-office training, as well as attending office events and functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Person-centred focus in all communications and duties
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a team.
  • Experience meeting deadlines and working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain.
