We have opportunities for highly experienced Fabricator / Sheetmetal Welder's. We are looking for someone that wants to put their expertise into our Defence work, there will be opportunity for growth within this field.
You will be able to demonstrate significant experience in welding and fabrication with a strong focus toward workmanship and high quality. We offer a clean, friendly working environment and ongoing training will be provided. We are seeking highly experienced welders with a first-class attitude!
Key duties and responsibilities:
- MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel & aluminium as required
- Read and interpret drawings to determine method of fabrication required
- Working cohesively within a team of welders, but also confident independently
- Working within timelines
- Responsible for quality of own work produced
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues independently and resolve issue
Key selection criteria:
- Extensive TIG and MIG welding experience with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium (weld test will be conducted before commencement)
- Trade qualified
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Own welding helmet and suitable clothing
- Own vehicle & current driver's licence
- Be punctual and reliable
