Your new opportunity:
As an Aftersales Representative at Penske you'll promote & sell parts, service products and service options for the Penske Off-Highway Diesel engine and Power Systems products and services. It's the perfect role for someone whose done their time on the tools and looking to step into a different career path or a technical sales professional with a proven track record in a similar industry.
You'll use your technical knowledge and expertise to provide the best advice and offerings to our clients, ensuring both your success and Penske's.
What you'll do
- Promote and sell parts, service and products from mtu, Detroit, Mercedes, Allison and associated maintenance products such as coolants, lubricants and filtration solutions.
- Build and maintain fantastic working relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Establish, maintain and review account plans whilst maintaining currency of CRM information.
- Create, maintain and utilise leads & opportunities to develop quotes and proposals.
- Have regular contact with other regional branches, ensuring the development and growth of products through initiatives, features and benefits.
- Assist in the development of, and execute strategic business plans, with a methodical, measured approach.
- Identify new opportunities for growth using analysis of sales and historic activities.
- Work closely with Parts & Service teams at your branch, as well as your National team of aftersales reps.
About you:
- You're trade qualified as a diesel mechanic or related field; alternatively, a mech engineering qualification
- The problem-solving techniques you've mastered while on the tools
- 2 - 3 years in sales would be ideal, but we're happy to train the right person
- Comfortable using a computer - you'll be in and out of CRMs, emails, OEM portals, quotations and presentations
- Ability to read and interpret product information bulletins
- Knowledge of Penske Australia products highly desirable
