The key purpose of the role is to lead the recruitment processes of Aged Care workers from attraction through to on-boarding, induction and off-boarding.You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the development of strategies and implementing these to source high-quality candidates to meet workforce demands.
- Undertaking contemporary merit and equity-based recruitment of Aged Care workers.
- Establishing relationships with external organisations such as TAFE Colleges, Registered Training Organisations, etc. to maximise employment opportunities.
- Supporting the delivery of an engaging induction program compliant with Aged Care and organisational requirements.
- Ongoing review and evaluation of the Recruitment and Induction program.
- Demonstrated experience working in recruitment or human resources roles.
- Knowledge and understanding of community-based Aged Care services.
- Experience in sourcing candidates through a variety of strategies, including liaison with other local networks and providers.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders including candidates, colleagues and external organisations.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
- Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
- Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
- Be fully vaccinated with at least two approved COVID-19 vaccines or have proof of medical exemption, in accordance with Council's Aged Care COVID-19 Vaccination procedure.
