The mine site

Located in Orange in central NSW, this large UG hard rock mine supports the careers of up to 700 people in the local vicinity. The mine production division at site offers; -

• 7:7 roster - days/ nights (12-hour shifts)
• The chance to upskill on modern UG mining machinery
• A well-connected team culture, that believes in support and training
• A wide range of training and development options

The role

Reporting to the shift boss on your crew you will enjoy working as a agi truck operator on Elphinstone WR820 underground agitator trucks. Working in a close-knit team you will be involved with;-

• Truck operations working closely with the cave establishment team.
• Transporting concrete around the mine site on the surface and underground.
• Operate other machinery when necessary.

Your skills and experience

You will ideally come from a background within heavy transport, logistics, civil infrastructure, mining or agriculture and have machinery operations experience. However not essential. You will come with;-

• An excellent attitude towards work and strong work ethic
• Strong safety standards
• The desire to work in the underground hard rock mining sector long term
• The resilience to work in hot and humid conditions
• Experience operating agitator trucks (desirable)
• A highly reliable and punctual nature
• NSW manual driver's license (with no restrictions)
