About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Agricultural Worker to join our team with long-term employment in mind, and to assist with various farm operations, including broad-acre cropping, sheep management, fencing, machinery maintenance, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery for broad-acre cropping activities such as seeding, spraying, spreading, hay production, and harvesting.
  • Assist with the management of our Merino sheep enterprise, including wool and fat lamb production.
  • Participate in fencing activities, including erecting new fences and repairing existing ones.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Work collaboratively with a team and independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Be willing to work extended hours during hay, harvest, and seeding seasons as required.

Requirements:

  • Class MC license mandatory
  • CHEMCERT qualification preferred 
  • Previous experience in agriculture, with a strong understanding of broad-acre cropping and livestock management practices
  • Ability to operate farm machinery safely and efficiently
  • Proficiency in fencing techniques and general farm maintenance tasks
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience with guidance technology considered an advantage
