Maintenance Compliance Officer

It's you that makes the difference to making amazing places, and we believe everyone can influence change for the better.ISS IS A PLACE TO BECOME PART OF SOMETHING BIGGERWith over 485,000 employees throughout 46 countries ISS is a company of belonging.”Connecting People and Places to Make the World Work Better”.We are currently seeking a talented professional to join us in the position of Maintenance Compliance Officer across our ISS sites at Riverbanks and Aldinga in Adelaide, to be employed on a full-time basis.Reporting to the Key Account Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of water supply, drainage, gas and heating/cooling systems across two large educational sites. Undertaking completion of the annual task schedule and ad-hoc duties including

• mechanical and electrical periodical inspection and maintenance (intakes, evaporator units,RCD, exit lighting etc)
• Fire and hydraulic periodical inspection and maintenance ( Emergency lighting, TMV, Safety showers etc)
• Building maintenance periodical inspection and maintenance ( Roller doors, roof and gutter inspections, safety pathways)

The role is also responsible for ensuring all current & future works comply with Australian Standards 3500 & all relevant state governing body regulations & legislation.Minimum Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Plumbing, draining & Gas Fitting industry experience
• Experience in Facilities Management settings desirable.
• Strong sense of team and passion to develop others as well as self.
• Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple priorities.
• An ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, subcontractors, senior management and Client representatives.
• Ability to work unsupervised to a schedule
