- An impressive track record within on-farm, agricultural sales and customer relationship management.
- Experience in developing structured and practical sales processes necessary to build team sales performance.
- Proven leadership of a geographically dispersed sales team.
- At least 5 years of experience in agronomy or a related field, alongside an extensive understanding of the intricacies and latest trends in Australia's agribusiness industry.
- Confidence in Microsoft Office and CRM software, matched with an equally confident and influential communication style and the fundamental abilities required to set and deliver on the sales agenda.
- Devising (with the input of the team) and implementing the sales strategy, subsequently generating new business and leveraging existing business opportunities.
- Leading, mentoring and overseeing the sales team to deliver consistently exceptional service.
- Building relationships with crucial internal stakeholders to streamline and enhance the customer experience.
- Keeping the pulse of industry developments and imparting this knowledge proactively to the sales team.
- Making extensive travel within the picturesque Gippsland region to establish and maintain ties with clients and prospects.
