As Aster Home Care experiences ongoing expansion, and bolstered by our outstanding reputation with clients, we currently have openings tailored for Assistants in Nursing. These roles involve providing support to clients within their homes, specifically targeting the Lake Macquarie region.

About the Role 
With this role you can expect to be making a difference to the lives of others by working one-on-one with our clients in their homes.
Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Personal care needs
• Continence care
• Meal preparation
• Medication administration
• Wound cares
• Ensuring client safety
• Domestic assistance
• Unaccompanied shopping.

Due to the nature of our work, and our clients’ requirements, we are looking for full and part time staff over a range of AM and PM Shifts:

AM Shift: 7.00am to 4.00pm
PM Shift: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

About You 
We are looking for personable and compassionate AIN's who are committed to person centred care and are comfortable working in community and in home environments.
  
Naturally you will require relevant qualifications and licenses including:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (post December 2015) 
• Certificate III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Health Services Assistance or Disability (pre December 2015).
• Current CPR Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Check
• Your own reliable vehicle and current Australian Driver’s License
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Working Visa with no Restrictions
• Statement of Service may be required
