Air Freight Co-Ordinator - Import/Export

The Client Leading freight forwarder with an innovative and progressive approach to being at the forefront of the ever changing global logistics industry. 

The Position
  
Reporting to the departmental team leader you will offer support by:      

• Liaising with overseas teams to schedule and book Air Freight based on customer agreed transit times and official flight schedules
• Ensuring the adherence to time critical deadlines 
• Following detailed SOP's to meet client service requirements
• Acting as the first point of contact for customers
• Controlling orders and providing detailed track and trace updates
• Preparing and reporting shipment status and exception reports     

The Requirements                                                  
     
To be successful in this role you will display:    

• Proven ability to multitask
• Strong Air Freight experience ideally in a time critical environment
• Working knowledge of Australian Customs and AQIS regulations
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Experience within the Australian market only
• Full working rights within Australia
