We currently have an opportunity for a Material and Logistics Coordinator based at our Karratha facility.
The fundamental responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting operations for the efficient supply of equipment and materials to and from offshore installations
- Communicating with offshore rigs including OIM, Storekeepers and Rig Managers
- Maintaining 24/7 availability for urgent requirements
- Overseeing and signing off on duties performed by staff yard operators and admin personnel
- Conducting forklift operations
- Packing and unpacking of offshore containers and signing off on the safety requirements as per the clients specifications
- Participating in, and chairing warehouse meetings, JHA etc as required
- Performing warehouse administrative tasks where required
- Receiving and despatching freight and ensuring freight is signed for in good order and condition
- Identifying damaged goods and actioning any requirements to minimise monetary loss and any potential lost time to the client and Pentagon
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Delivering and picking up of goods, materials and personnel as required
- Performing data entry and basic computer orientated duties
- Maintaining stock control and reporting via electronic interface within the client systems
- Carrying out forklift and vehicle maintenance checks
- Housekeeping
- Utilising man cage, container ramp and other equipment
- Conducting basic yard and warehouse maintenance as required
- Using hand and power tools
- Packing, strapping (plastic and steel) and shrink wrapping of goods
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar role
- Positive and professional attitude
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
- High attention to detail and strong planning and organising skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- High awareness of QHSE requirement’s
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- Dangerous goods by Road and Sea Qualifications
- Rigging Qualification
- Current high risk forklift licence
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen along with Criminal History checks.
