As an Air & Land Travel Consultant at Ponant, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting seamless travel experiences for our clients. In addition to assisting with airline bookings, you'll also manage various aspects of the travel product, ensuring every detail of our clients' journeys exceeds expectations.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Customer Engagement Director (APAC), this role demands a comprehensive understanding of flight reservations, as well as exceptional customer service skills in coordinating arrangements for other ancillary services. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice and recommendations on airline bookings, including flight routes, schedules, and fare options.
- Handling reservations and ticketing for both domestic and international flights.
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all travel arrangements, from booking flights to coordinating pre and post-night stays, transfers, and other ancillary services.
- Assisting clients with travel-related inquiries, changes, and cancellations, delivering exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry
- Experience working with a Destination Management Company (DMC) is a plus
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in handling travel bookings.
