Job Description:
As a Reservations Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for travel agents and direct clients, handling reservations and providing expert advice on travel products. Your role will involve managing bookings, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a seamless reservation process. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality service and travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries related to travel bookings and reservations.
- Provide accurate information on travel products, including tours, accommodations, flights, and ground transportation.
- Process bookings efficiently and accurately, ensuring all details are confirmed and documented.
- Resolve any booking issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel destinations, trends, and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, suppliers, and partners.
- Meet and exceed performance targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a travel reservations or customer service role is required.
- Strong knowledge of travel industry systems and software (e.g., GDS systems, CRM tools).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for travel and helping others plan their perfect trip.
