AddressDue to being awarded a new contract at Whitsunday Coast Airport, IOR are currently seeking 2 full time Aircraft Refuellers to join our new operation in Proserpine.
IOR will provide an extensive training program that will provide the successful candidate with all the knowledge (both practical and theory) to be a successful refueller.
The role involves driving on airport, working alongside other operations to refuel aircraft with a high focus on safety. A roster will be developed dependent on business activity and airport operating hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- A thorough understanding of the procedures for Refuelling tasks
- Make sure all pre-shift or pre-start inspections are carried, recording and documenting as required.
- Adhere to IOR procedures and safety policies.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are well presented and required maintenance is completed.
- Routine quality checks
- Fuel Accept and Release Checks
IOR are seeking individuals who display a can-do attitude and high attention to detail. You will look after all aspects of refuelling as per the company policies and procedures and operate in line with requirement of the Airport legislations. You have a strong knowledge and experience of safe working principles and display high awareness for hazards in the workplace. We are willing to train and upskill those with a heavy rigid licence. A DG Licence is preferred but can be obtained if successful.
