Duties

As an Aircraft Refueller you will be primarily responsible for the safe, timely and efficient refuelling of aircraft. The key tasks of the job include, but are not limited to the following;

• Perform aircraft refuelling duties as required
• Undertake all relevant product quality tasks 
• Perform tanker daily, weekly, monthly, and other periodic equipment inspections
• Perform minor maintenance as required (subject to competency and safety considerations)
• Interface with customers by email, phone or face to face for fuel orders and other requirements 
• Accurately complete administrative duties including manual records and computer data entry, correcting any discrepancies found or escalating if help is required. This includes meter reconciliations, stock reconciliations, equipment inspections, and other records as required
• Report all accidents, injuries, near misses, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or potential incidents with actual or potential consequence for the operations
• Timely recording of information on any circumstances associated with a potential aircraft or customer delays
• Record and report all vehicle and equipment defects
• Communicate effectively with customers via mobile or face to face
• Ensure all work areas (including vehicles, office, amenities) are kept clean and tidy
• Participate in safety programs remotely including toolbox and other meetings, walk and talk programs and other programs as directed
• Administrative duties such as assisting with Viva HSSE reporting and HSSE assessments
• Managing equipment faults and breakdowns, organising repairs where required to ensure fleet availability
• Stakeholder and customer management where required
