Our client, a 5-star Japanese airline is seeking candidates for the Airport Officer/Ground Staff to be responsible for their ground handling operations at Perth Airport. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have excellent customer service skills.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties:
- Supervision and coordination of passenger handling, ramp, and operation.
- Ensuring all operational tasks are completed efficiently within specified time frames.
- Assist passengers during the check-in, departure and arrival process in a professional and friendly manner.
- Attend passengers' special needs.
- Perform office support and administrative functions.
- Lead and supervise the entrusted company as an airline staff.
- As multi task may be requested, ad hoc duties will be expected
Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Japanese language skills a great advantage but not a must.
- Interest in Japan, Japanese culture or language is a must.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and a great team player
- Previous experience in a similar role in the airline industry will be highly regarded
- Work hours are between 14:30 - 23:00 in shift when there are flights and 9:00 - 17:30 OR 11:00 -19:30when there are no flights
