An exciting opportunity for an Airworthiness Administration & Standards Coordinator is available at our Alliance Airlines Hangar in Brisbane. You will be a motivated self-starter who thrives working in a dynamic environment.  
 
Ensuring all company generated documentation for the CAMO Department is maintained in a current and appropriate manner.  Providing administration support for CAMO publications, records, and systems.
 
 

What we’re looking for 

The Airworthiness Administration & Standards Coordinator is responsible for but not limited to: 

  • The development and maintenance of CAMO processes and manuals
  • The revision of all Alliance generated CAMO manuals
  • Supporting the efficient and effective operation of the CAMO Department
  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance
  • Relationship and Personal management

    Key Functions & Responsibilities:

    Manuals and Documentation

    • Engage with team members, departmental managers and service providers to ensure consistent application of processes and policy documentation.
    • Developing operational procedures in line with regulatory, IOSA/BARS or company requirements in consultation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Continuous review and coordinated update of documented policy and procedures in-line with state regulations, company direction and industry best practise to include (but not limited to)
      • CASA and other state regulators
      • IATA & IOSA standards
      • Other relevant industry bodies
    • Continuous review and coordinated update of departmental documents and communication tools, while ensuring integration of policy and procedure between all relevant company manuals and other internal departments. Departmental documents and communication tools specifically include:
    • Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
    • Airworthiness Instruction Manual (AIM)
    • Interface Procedures Manual’s (IPM), Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Maintenance Program Manual (MPM), Aircraft Servicing Procedures manual (ASP) and associated SOP’s
    • Develop departmental communications e.g. DSAG/Operations Notices
    • Maintenance of CAMO related Alliance Application Databases
    • Other operational documentation as required.
    • Coordinating the approval process of the revision requests and total revisions, both internally and externally as required of the Alliance generated CAMO manuals
    • Provision of best practice administration processes.
    • Compliance with company policies, procedures and service that satisfy customer and management requirements.

    Administration Support

    • Processing CAMO General Finance Administration, Purchase orders and Requisitions
    • Processing electronic software filing of required CAMO Department records
    • Processing Maintenance Software user logins
    • Initialise the creation of Aircraft Technical Logs and their replacements
    • Regularly producing various CAMO system status reports and circulating to predetermined distribution
    • Other reasonable duties as requested by General Manager - Airworthiness or their delegate

    Safety Compliance

    • Complies with safety laws and regulations
    • Encourages a culture of safety in all activities, ensuring standards are maintained within a safe and effective manner
    • Encouraging & supporting a very high compliance standard

    Relationship and Personal management

    • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with management, staff and peers.
    • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with external clients and their representatives.
    • Keeps up to date with current trends and developments associated with the industry and CAMO itself.

    Promotes awareness of and role models improvement approaches and encourages participation in an improvement framework.

    To Be Successful 

    • Ability to understand & utilise Technical Knowledge
    • Aviation experience, ideally within airworthiness, engineering or procurement administration
    • Experience in Document Control (desirable)
    • Knowledge of IOSA standards (desirable)

     
     
    Skills: 

    • Attention to detail
    • High level communication skills
    • Well developed computing skills, particularly Microsoft office suite of programs
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team focussed environment
    • Maturity, Initiative and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions in difficult circumstances
    • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
    • Ability to operate without direct supervision including excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
