Form of workALG is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Warehouse Officer/Stores person to join a reputable organisation located in Tullamarine Airport. We are seeking candidates who are adaptable and willing to work on a 4 on, 4 off roster, consisting of 2 days and 2 nights. This position provides valuable exposure to the aviation industry and opens a wide range of future career prospects.
As a Warehouse Officer/Stores person, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Maintaining company premises and equipment.
- Ensuring cleanliness for safety and suitability of facilities.
- Handling and managing tools.
- Engaging in manual handling activities such as picking and packing.
- Executing tasks related to airport ground operations and following instructions from Aircraft maintenance engineers.
This is a 6 to 12-month casual contract offering full-time hours. For the right candidate, there is potential for an extension beyond the initial contract period.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidates should possess the following attributes:
- Forklift license (highly desirable)
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to obtain an ASIC (Airport Security Identification Card)
- Flexibility to work on a 4 on, 4 off roster.
- Ability to comply with medical requirements, including drug/alcohol and physical tests, at their own cost.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and good communication skills.
- Demonstrate full compliance with all work rules and regulations.
