The Role
Programmed are currently seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Alcoa Pinjarra.
Successful applicants will have previous mine site or refinery experience, with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to safety.
Skills and Experience
Australian Trade Certificate - Light Vehicle or Heavy Duty Mechanic
5 Years post apprenticeship trade experience
Additional high risk licenses (highly regarded)
Exposure to previous mining/refining/industry/shutdown work
Exposure to previous dealership/workshop working environments (preferred)
Exposure to hydraulic, pneumatic and automotive electrical repairs (preferred but not essential)
Vehicle air conditioning license (preferred but not essential)
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
Ability to pass a Psychometric test
Team player, conscientious worker with proven strong focus on safety and adherence to site rules/requirements.
