Our client, located in Berrimah, is currently seeking an experienced Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Case Worker for an immediate start. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a community services setting, specifically supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.Role Details:

• Position: Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Case Worker
• Location: Boulter Road, Berrimah NT
• Employment Type: Full-time | Monday to Friday
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: $65K- 70K per annum + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive case management to clients experiencing Alcohol and Other drug issues.
• Adapt communication styles and techniques to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
• Demonstrate strong administrative skills to maintain accurate client records and reports.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a community services setting, preferably working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
• Proficiency in risk management and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Qualifications in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), Community Services with case management, or similar
• Current NT Driver’s License (minimum C Class).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Criminal History Check
• Ochre Card (Category E) or evidence of application
