Position Title: Alcohol Tobacco Other Drug Specialist
Classification: NP75- NP77
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $4,261.60 - $4,589.40
Hours per fortnight: up to 80 Hours (including an ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination (3 doses)

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified nurse to backfill the Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drug (ATOD) Nurse position for a fixed term secondment.

The ATOD nurse:

- Works in consultation with treating doctors, nurses and allied health to plan, deliver and evaluate treatment in context of tobacco, alcohol and Other Drug withdrawal

- Develops and runs structured closed group programs, as well providing individual training and education sessions in inpatient settings

- Promote responsive treatment programs and support to staff to implement Bendigo Health and other relevant Smoke-Free and dual diagnosis policies and guidelines as they relate to psychiatry inpatient settings
