All-Rounder - BIG4 Lucinda Wanderers Holiday Park

Lucinda is a lovely seaside town located 2 hours north of Townsville in the far north of sunny Queensland and is directly opposite the southern tip of Hinchinbrook Island, an area well known for its diverse fishing opportunities and tropical climate.

The park consists of a range of accommodation options (bungalows), caravan and camping sites, and is very popular with return travellers each tourist season. Our small team has the highest score for customer service in our group and we are looking for a casual All-Rounder who can work with the fantastic existing team we have in place to maintain its great reputation.

About the role

This role will require you to work across both areas, which will include general front office receptionist duties and cleaning of tourist cabins, amenities, and common areas.

The successful applicant must possess;

• Experience in the Holiday Park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role.
• Reservation System Experience e.g., RMS preferable, although training will be provided for the successful applicant.
• Customer Service Experience
• Hands on participation in the cleaning of all buildings and accommodation areas as directed by management.
• Be able to work unsupervised, and as part of a team.
• High level of communication and written skills
• Cash handling experience.
• Broad level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
• Have a willingness to carry out various tasks as required.
• Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
• Be available for an immediate start.
