The Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.  We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service. 

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity

An Exciting opportunity exists within the Allied Health and Aboriginal Liaison to join us as an Administration Assistant

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide an effective and efficient Administration Service to clients and clinicians
  • Provide high standard of customer service as the first point of contact for customers and service users
  • Provide a reception service and effectively respond to various enquiries within the scope of the position.
  • Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective record management service
  • Contribute to a team environment, which promotes positivity, learning and development, safety and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity, innovation and honesty.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with empathy, a diverse range of people, display courteous/polite manner, express a genuine willingness to help patients, staff, relatives and general public.
  • Demonstrated initiative, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of team and to function in and promote a multi-disciplinary team approach.
  • Experience in providing a confidential reception, secretarial and administrative support service.
  • Demonstrated experience in working under pressure to set priorities, work to deadlines and perform all duties effectively with a high level of accuracy, with limited supervision.
