Your Role
The Allied Health Assistant will be required to provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, other therapy and nursing staff as required. We are currently seeking Allied Health Assistant to join our Mental Health team.
The Position
Provide clinical assistance to the physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing and other health care professionals as required.
Actively monitor the environment and implement safe work practices to ensure patient and staff safety.
Provide administrative support to hospital staff as requested by Department Manager.
Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment
You will have possess a Certificate III Allied Health Assistance, or suitable experience in a similar position or currently completing tertiary studies in an Allied Health discipline, maintain demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality, and have ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures
To succeed you will have developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner, and well -developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.

We can offer you
Salary: $64,355.00 to $69,469.00 per annum, plus 11% superannuation
