These roles support the delivery of patient care by supporting Allied Health professionals with the provision of mental health patient care programs including group and individual treatments, and related activities under the Allied Health professional’s direction.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services. The purpose-built Mental Health Unit includes a Youth Unit for people aged between 16 and 24 years, a Mother and Baby Unit, and an assessment Unit providing a therapeutic environment for patients requiring short term admission. The Mental Health Service provides evidence-based care from a multidisciplinary clinical team, with strong consumer and carer engagement.
