Position Profile:
The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking dynamic candidates to be considered for the role of Allied Health Assistant within our Child Development Service team. Bring your passion and commitment and make a difference to those that matter – the next generation.
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will assist Child Development Service Allied Health clinicians with the provision of therapy programs including group and perform related activities under the therapists’ direction and work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
About Child Development Service:
The Child Development Service provides multidisciplinary assessment and intervention services to infant, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation and/or the parent-child relationship.
Clinicians adopt a child and family-centred approach, working in partnership with families to address developmental concerns that are of priority to the family.
Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other Allied Health professionals.
The Child Development Service provides services at approximately 18 locations across the metropolitan Perth area, as well as providing home, school and community visits as needed.
