Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistant
- A driver’s license & access to a car
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain relevant clinical documentation and collection of statistics in accordance with organisational guidelines.
- Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments and interventions for participants as delegated by an Allied Health professional
- Creating therapy treatment plans
- Monitoring and reporting changes
- Providing administrative support
- Compiling participant histories
- Coordinating health programs
- Assisting with overall client care
- Setting up the clinical equipment, therapy material, educational resources and assistive devises
- Providing feedback to the therapist after each session – functionality, status, program implementation and progress
- Cleaning and tidying environment to meet practice guidelines.
- Maintaining professional and personal development by participating in training, performance reviews, meetings and developmental activities
- Incorporate child safe standards in their practices
- Report any real or potential risks of harm to a participant, including child and young person
