Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistant
• A driver’s license & access to a car

Tasks & responsibilities

• Maintain relevant clinical documentation and collection of statistics in accordance with organisational guidelines.
• Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments and interventions for participants as delegated by an Allied Health professional
• Creating therapy treatment plans
• Monitoring and reporting changes
• Providing administrative support
• Compiling participant histories
• Coordinating health programs
• Assisting with overall client care
• Setting up the clinical equipment, therapy material, educational resources and assistive devises
• Providing feedback to the therapist after each session – functionality, status, program implementation and progress
• Cleaning and tidying environment to meet practice guidelines.
• Maintaining professional and personal development by participating in training, performance reviews, meetings and developmental activities
• Incorporate child safe standards in their practices
• Report any real or potential risks of harm to a participant, including child and young person
