Applications Close: 2 May 2024What you'll be doingThis position will involve the incumbent in frequent delivery and collection of heavy equipment such as community hospital beds, patient lifters etc, in the community. The position also requires the incumbent to work within a multidisciplinary team within our palliative care service dealing with challenging behaviours associated with people dealing with end of life care, mental health issues, grief, anger and confusion.The Allied Health Assistant may be expected to work across sites and participate in weekend work. Salary Level is dependent on qualifications:

• Level 1 – No Qualifications;
• Level 2 – Completion of 12 or more months' service as an Allied Health Assistant Level 1 or Certificate III or other qualification deemed equivalent;
• Level 3 – Certificate IV qualification or other qualification deemed equivalent

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (2 doses) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
