About your opportunity
Fixed Term Temporary part-time / 32.6 hours p.f. / ASAP up to January 2025
This position contributes to the provision of Social Work by providing assistance to Social Workers and Senior Welfare Workers through facilitation of the effective and efficient completion of clinical support tasks in a variety of clinical areas including medical, surgical, rehabilitation, paediatrics and outpatient services.
Generous remuneration package value up to $34,202 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $33.52 to $35.24 p.h. (CA3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously under a defined scope of delegated practice, in a complex and demanding work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team with a good understanding of own scope of practice.
- Under supervision, demonstrated ability to provide a defined range of patient interventions as delegated by the Social Worker.
- Demonstrated personal time management skills and ability to work with limited supervision
Requirements
- Proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- While not mandatory, a Certificate IV – Allied Health Assistance or enrolment in a degree in Social Work would be highly regarded. Evidence of any Certificates/Qualifications held to be provided prior to commencement of duty.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Roster – this position will require the incumbent to work Friday 0800 to 1630.
- Probation period may apply.
