In Australia we own and manage the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, and the Tropicana Gold Mine (70% AGA owned 30% Regis Resources). These are two of Western Australia’s premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.

We are now seeking an Alternate Underground Manager to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Manager: Underground.
This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
Accountabilities:
- Be an active safety leader in line with the companies values, policies and procedures
- Ensure all statutory requirements for the underground mine are met
- Work with the primary underground mining contractor to deliver budget mine physicals
- Identify improvement opportunities, implement and manage projects to achieve improvements
- Work with technical personnel to ensure that all design requirements for the underground mine are met.
- Identify and manage threats to the delivery of budgeted underground physicals
About You

- Extensive mining industry experience with a broad range of underground mining technical and management skills
- WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- Demonstrated capacity to make sound and timely decisions, by quickly assembling the facts to develop action priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication and motivating skills.
- Existing and ongoing Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
- Able to attain a new National Police Clearance
